Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) is the use of evidence-based practice to manage and sometimes prevent chronic conditions through individualized nutrition plans. Through in-depth nutritional diagnostic, therapeutic, and counseling services, including the ongoing monitoring and evaluation of all interventions, the goal of MNT is to "move the individual along the continuum of disease management toward better nutritional health and overall well being." (Krause, 2012)
Sounds a little clinical, right? Our goal at Real Good Nutrition is to make MNT more personal. I want to start our sessions where you are today and work together to find a realistic and sustainable way for you to feel better. You won't feel like you're in your doctor's office - I promise.

Get To Know Me
I am a Registered, Licensed Dietitian and Health at Every Size (HAES) enthusiast with a passion for all things food and nutrition. With a firm belief that “All Foods Fit” into a balanced diet, I aim to educate, inspire, and help you positively shape your eating habits and form a better relationship with food.
My simple pleasures include sunshine, lattes, mangoes, travel, chocolate anything (literally) and spending time with my little Cavapoo, Bailey! When not enjoying those things, you can find me hiking outdoors, cooking up something delicious in the kitchen, or spending time with friends and family.
As a former passenger on the diet roller coaster and having battled with disordered eating, I’ve been in your shoes. I’ve done restriction and tried the failed quick fixes. After seeking care from a Registered Dietitian, I realized my passion for assisting others who struggle with food. I know how overwhelming it can be to navigate the endless, ever-changing nutritional information circling the web today. That’s what I’m here for.
A bit more about me.
I completed my undergraduate Bachelor’s Degree in Dietetics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison followed by my Master’s Degree and Dietetic Internship in Nutrition at Loyola University Chicago. During my 6 years of schooling, I worked alongside and learned from talented dietitians across sectors including hospitals, private practices, and various outpatient clinics. After graduation, I provided nutritional therapy at a counseling and wellness clinic, working inter-professionally with therapists to provide nutritional support to patients.
My goal is simply this: to meet you wherever you might be on your nutritional journey and create a personalized approach to help you regain confidence in nourishing your body.
Nutrition isn’t black and white, and your care plan shouldn’t be either. I take an evidenced-based, weight-inclusive approach with a focus on a practical and sustainable strategies to help you reach your health goals. Whether you are looking to feel more energized, improve your relationship with food and your body, or manage chronic health concerns, I offer a real-life game plan that always keeps you front and center.
Working together one-on-one, I hope to change the way we think about food and our bodies!
